Better Now to Help Make a Greater Future!

Ever thought about making a difference? To make a positive dent in this negative world we live in? To help the ones in need because that's what we were taught to do? We all can make huge differences for others in need with the most miniscule things we may take for granted on a day by day basis.

About three years ago Jessica Chibueze was asked to donate clothing to the people of Uganda; she was also asked if she'd like to tag along to assist with the cause, which she agreed. A onetime trip to Uganda or what it was thought to be ended up being something she fell in love with, and just like that Jessica practically became a hero. Since that first visit Jessica started visiting Uganda yearly to help improve the living conditions.
These Uganda trips include doctors doing checkups for everyone in the villages, but she began to also focus on the youth and what could benefit them the most. Jessica's 2012 visit was to teach kids how to maintain good hygiene, so she raised money for clothing  & supplies such as toothbrushes, soap, wash cloths. These simple things & knowledge she provides them would assist these children with what's needed to prevent being diagnosed with certain diseases. Jessica also helped bathe 20 kids during that 2012 visit, a number she tripled only a year later.
Some of us have seen commercials on television & some of us may have even immaturely joked about things of this nature, but now as mature adults we see the world through different lenses. Poverty, and hunger is all around us, some choose to help some don't but the smallest donations & support can go a long way to those less fortunate. There is a part in some of us that want to help, but the information may not be easily accessible nor do you know of the many ways to make a difference. If you feel that you want to help make a difference, don't wait around, even your own community may need help. If you want to join Jessica and her fight for better living conditions in Uganda, next time you go out to purchase hygiene supplies, pick up something extra and contact her before her Summer 2014 trip.
