In a time where The Joker blows up Metropolis, and drugs Superman causing him to kill his wife Lois Lane & their unborn child a new darker twist unfolds in the DC Universe. Joker kidnapped Lois & poisoned Superman's mind into believing she was Doomsday thus making him kill her & his unborn child. After these events Superman killed The Joker, who grew tired of losing to Batman & had the idea that once Superman lost everything he loved he would no longer try to portray himself as a man but as a "God" like he should be. The chain of events to follow lead up to the world basically being under the dictatorship of Superman. I'm assuming that the game takes place in both the Past & Future allowing the player to witness these events & having to deal with them.
