Mavado's sophomore album brings slightly more maturity, and growth than his last attempt(Gangsta For Life). This album brings insight and may even 

give hope to residents of the garrisons of Jamaica. Mavado takes his time to speak to the 

people as David with songs like Every Situation, and On Da Rock before he 

enters his Gangsta persona to deliver his enemies with Life of a G, Gangsta Nuh Play, and 

he even begins to sound like his Dads Bounty Killer on the Vybz Kartel/Jah Vinci 

provoked song Real Killa. Even though A Better Tomorrow lacks in exclusiveness, it still managed to be a break through album for Mavado, and DanceHall music by 

breaking Bob Marley's Legend iTunes record.
