I've actually been meaning to put this up here for the past two to three months, but never got to it. City of God's Son is a modern day
Hip-Hop story of the infamous "Gangsa" figure in Hip-Hop culture, created solely from samples. Imagine Nas' Illmatic brought to you
by Quentin Tarintino or even Martin Scorcese, with Nas, Jay-z, and Ghostface playing the main characters in the story, then you'll have
City of God's Son. A clever audio mixup of samples from Nas, Ghostface, B.I.G, Jay-z, Raekwon, Laurence Fishburne, Delroy Lindo &
Samuel Jackson. It tells the story of three best friends(Nas, Jay-z, and Ghostface) growing, adapting, and learning the ways of the
"hustler/gangsta" to survive in the streets. A form of visual compilation for City of God's Son should be done sometime
this summer, so stay tuned and take a listen to the audio.
