Balancing Fashion & Masculinity

I found the perfect article this morning that gives tips, and shows males how

to be stylish,

yet not have to worry about saying "Nah I'm Not Gay". I'm not even going to

waste time, here's the article.

At its core, fashion is about accentuating your best physical attributes. Clothes do for men what colorful plumage does for love-sick peacocks. The trick, of course, is to retain as much of your cockiness as possible amid the plumage. This does not mean you should follow every trend and fad thrown down the runways of New York City , Paris and Milan like some out-of-control bowling ball. You’ll have to take your time and determine the right look for your lifestyle and your personality, while maintaining as much of yourself as you can along the way. That said, here are our tips for how to balance fashion and masculinity.

Find your own style

To properly balance fashion and masculinity, you’ll need to determine which style is best for you. Consider your age, profession (if you’ve settled on one) and outlook. For example, if you work in a creative field, you can push your wardrobe toward modern, international styles that feature sleek lines, monochromatic color palettes and trim fits. If you deal with customers or a wide array of people on a daily basis, however, you should consider a more conservative approach. Don’t fret though; "conservative" doesn’t mean you have to pull on chinos and golf attire every day. In fact, you will find greater balance and success by leaving the chino stereotype behind and wearing houndstooth and glen-plaid trousers with blazers. Taking your personal style up one level, regardless of  trends, will garner you more respect and attention from those worth courting. And once you’ve found your personal style, stay with it and build a wardrobe around this theme.
