The Formation of The D'Generation X

The Kliq aka D'Generation X was the biggest & most influential stable in WWF, and just might be second ONLY to the N.W.O when it comes to being the biggest stables in wrestling history. D'Generation X was formed by Shawn Michaels and was basically another way for him to drive his boss Vince McMahon crazy but it eventually helped boost the company to supremacy over the rival WCW. The Kliq consisted of friends Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Scott Hall, X-Pac & Kevin Nash. They used their friendship to make sure they all prospered and got their way in the business. The friendship ended up pissing off Vince & the other wrestlers to the point where management wanted to keep them all apart which didn't really work. Shawn Michaels didn't like the name Kliq & ended up forming the D'Generation X based off of Bret Hart of the rival Hart Foundation calling them degenerates. D'Generation X originally consisted of best friends Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Chyna & Ravishing Rick Rude acted as their bodyguards. The classic, crude antics of DX ended up creating the WWF Attitude era which took WWF to a new level & it's golden era.
