Last month I gave a short "Modern Warfare 3 PSA" about the release of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3", and now Activision's sales show that "Modern Warfare 3" sales have made more than a record breaking $1 Billion. Selling $1 Billion isn't where the record actually comes in, this record was made within 16 days, which bested James Cameron's "Avatar" movie by a day. If people are still confused about how serious this video game is to the market, we may find out sometime within another year whether or not another record can be broken.
