27 year old Shooting Guard for the "Portland Trailblazers" has announced on December 9th 2011 that he has retired from the NBA after only 5 short seasons due to cartilage damage to his knees. B-Roy had his worst career season last year only scoring 12.2 points a game, which was also due to his surgery. Brandon's highest career season was 2008-2009 where he scored 22.6 points a game. Brandon Roy was a key part of Portland's NBA franchise, and it's sad to see a star of his caliber go so early.
B-Roy's short career has seen him with a few awards/highlights such as...
3 time NBA All Star from 2008-2010.
NBA Rookie of the Year in 2007.
NBA All Rookie First Team in 2007.
All NBA Team in 2009.
All NBA Third Team in 2010.
All NBA Second Team in 2009.
He set his career high in points against the Phoenix Suns on December 18th 2008 with 52 points.
