@MartyaLaMode: - Different Types of Broke

No female wants a broke significant other, neither does a male but the views on being broke are often clouded or misconstrued amongst genders. As a male, we're of course supposed to be the money makers, providers, and financial slaves or whatever it is young women call it these days. People can be considered broke for numerous reasons such as not having enough money at a particular time, refusing to buy something, not wanting to go out one night or maybe even being accustomed to a certain lifestyle.

The term "Broke" gets tossed around when it needs to, but I've often seen it used when it may not even apply to a particular situation. I'm here to break down the different types of "Broke", and the situations behind them. This guideline will allow everyone to see which one applies to them & a person of interest or their overall situation.

Broke - without money; penniless.

Now here are the different types of this one term...
"Drag-On Broke" - Just look at that photo, doesn't he just look like he doesn't know what income or taxes are. A person who is "Drag-On Broke" has NOTHING to their name, and usually thrives off of the opportunities & money of someone else. Think about it for a second, you just may be supporting a "Drag-On Broke" person, trust me they're in all of our circles. Look amongst your friends & think about that person who never has money but somehow enjoys themselves off of the money someone else has spent. If you have trouble figuring out who this person may be, just think about who got away with the most trifling maneuvers when it came time to pay for something at a restaurant or who owes you the most money. This is the person who has a new phone number every time you see them, because they can't even keep their phones on. The "Drag-On Broke" person is the individual who's name ALWAYS pops up in a conversation about "The Swindle" or what the team & I call "The Funky Chicken".

The Funky Chicken - Swift devious & trifling maneuvers or plans orchestrated in order to get out of a situation or to get over on someone.
"MC Hammer Broke" - a person who is "MC Hammer Broke" is one notch above "Drag-On Broke" because they may have a few things to their name, or did at one time. "MC Hammer Broke" people are either at rock bottom or on the verge of reaching there. This person may have little to no priorities or have their priorities twisted. An "MC Hammer Broke" person is completely ass backwards; they may even fool you by the way that they dress at times. Think about that person who brags about the most flashiest & designer things but nothing about them matches up to their supposed lifestyle. This person will also attempt to make money anyway possible, whether it be illegal or senseless schemes.

"Average Broke" - a person who has a job & may work hard but has priorities. An "Average Broke" person can occasionally splurge on themselves but will tell you they're broke, you may not believe them though because of how they carry themselves. Priorities are what an "Average Broke" person is all about, they have to pay their bills or handle responsibilities/business before they have fun or go out. This is the person you may know who always works but always tells you they don't have "It" when you're trying to go out. Don't get "Average Broke" mixed up with being "Cheap" though; a lot of people will pull the "Average Broke" card to hide the fact that they're really "Cheap".

"People Broke" - a person who's only broke when it comes to certain people. A "People Broke" person may tell YOU that they're broke or have no money, but will go out with someone else that same night. This is a picky but borderline sneaky person. This person may just be very picky on who they take or even go out with, while the more sneaky "People Broke" persons may just have too many things going on at one time. These sneaky types have to juggle numerous people, and can only see certain people on their time.

Learn the differences in these types of "Broke", and what they mean or consist of. Some females tend to believe some dudes have money because of their attire;half those dudes spend all their money on clothes & don't have enough money in their pockets to put a slice of cheese on a hamburger. Guys don't be fooled by some of these females either; yeah she looks good on Friday night because the club is free before 12, but by 12:30 her throats raspy since she couldn't afford a bottle of water. I know people who would constantly put on their best outfits to go out but not have a dollar in their pocket, and expect for someone else to hold them down for the night. Watch out for those "Drag-On Broke" people, you know the ones who still find some way to get money out of their parents whenever they want to do something, yeah them. You can dress nice & carry yourself a certain way but still be somewhat broke. A person can be broke but still have money in their pockets & bank account because they're "Average Broke" & or "People Broke". I don't know anyone the week before & the week of the 1st, I have rent to pay so chalk me up in the "Broke" category around those times. After the 1st I'll remember who some people are if I see fit, so that will definitely make me an "Average Broke" & "People Broke" person, which are you!?.
