The Way I See It
Raphael Saadiq has been in the game for awhile,
from his days of Tony! Toni! Tone! to
being one of the biggest producers in the
industry.
Raphael Saadiq is back with his fourth solo album
The Way I See It.
Saadiq manages to create an album that sounds like
an old high school dance
from the years your parents were born. The Way I
See It isn't even really Neo Soul
or
generic R&B it's actually Rhythm & Blues
in it's classic entirety.

The album is a flash back to the classic Motown Era and
features acts such as Stevie Wonder,
Joss Stone, and Jay-z.
The effort of Saadiq is something refreshing
in these times of music,
and actually unique for someone of this era to pull off.
